This research focuses on understanding the adoption and maturity of 15 advanced technologies in last mile logistics, aiming to provide actionable insights for both regulators and companies. By addressing the gap between theoretical maturity and real-world application, this study ensures that the logistics sector can effectively leverage these technologies for enhanced efficiency and sustainability. The integration of technologies such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), autonomous vehicles, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) promises to revolutionize last mile delivery by improving speed, reducing costs, and minimizing environmental impact. Our mixed-method approach, combining bibliographic analysis, expert surveys, and field studies, will validate the maturity levels of these technologies and provide a roadmap for future innovation. The findings will offer concrete recommendations for regulators and actionable insights for companies, ultimately contributing to a more integrated, intelligent, and automated logistics sector. This research supports the global push towards more sustainable logistics practices, benefiting businesses, regulators, and society at large.
