Design and Evaluation Performance of Single-Layer and Double-Layer Radiative Cooling Coatings Using Silicon Dioxide and Titanium Dioxide. A Case Study in North Africa: Rabat, Morocco
摘要
Radiative cooling (RC) has emerged as a significant advancement in passive cooling technologies, presenting a sustainable and energy-efficient strategy to address the issue of the growing demand for air conditioning. This promising approach utilizes natural process to dissipate infrared radiation to outer space cold, without required input consumption. A study focuses designing several single layer and double layers configurations of RC samples. An experimental investigation aimed to understanding the thermal behavior RC samples under real time conditions. The study providing considerable insights which the temperature of each RC sample drops below ambient temperature during nighttime. The results of this study contribute significantly in advancing research in the field of radiative cooling.
