The adoption of E-Learning in higher education has accelerated, particularly during disruptions such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Analyzing the extensive and diverse academic literature on its adoption and impacts remains challenging. This paper aims to perform a bibliometric analysis to map the academic landscape of E-Learning adoption in higher education, identifying key research outputs, leading contributors, and emerging trends. The analysis shows a significant increase in E-Learning research, peaking during the pandemic, with leading contributions from Malaysia, Ukraine, and Saudi Arabia. It also reveals a preference for articles and conference papers in research dissemination.
