摘要

The Microprocessor Technology (MPT) course at the University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen (THM) provides students hands-on experience in embedded systems. This paper explores the integration of the MICRO Remote Lab, a web-based platform that provides MPT experiments in an interactive remote environment. The MICRO Remote Lab enables students to conduct microcontroller experiments by experiencing online visual, digital, and analog interactions. A camera feed preserves visual perception, while software-driven inputs emulate physical components. A communication interface allows direct message interaction between students’ web browsers and the microcontroller. Beyond providing physical hardware, MICRO enhances accessibility by addressing scheduling and mobility challenges, ensuring scalability and flexibility in embedded systems education. Planned enhancements, such as oscilloscope functionalities and logic analyzers, will further expand its capabilities. By bridging theory and practice, MICRO delivers an immersive, hands-on experience from anywhere.
