Empowering Female Entrepreneurs in Karnataka: Leveraging Social Media for Business Growth Fostering Professional Networks

Social media has emerged as a powerful tool for business development, offering unique opportunities for entrepreneurs with a low-cost, high-reach tool to market products, engage with customers, foster professional networks, and grow their business. It explores key factors such as content strategy, audience engagement, and the role of social media analytics in driving business success. This study examines the impact of social media participation on the business growth of female entrepreneurs in Karnataka, south part of India by leveraging platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. It also highlights challenges, including resource constraints, digital literacy, and algorithmic biases, which can impact outcomes. The findings reveal that active and strategic participation in social media significantly contributes to improved sales, brand equity, and network expansion for female entrepreneurs. This study underscores the importance of tailored training and support programs to optimize the benefits of social media.
