The aim of this article is to present a conceptual model, ©EasySTEP (©EasySTEP is a product of AFNeT Services), designed to expand the ISO 10303 series for binding diverse data and models. The conceptual model is implemented through a crawler, a converter and a viewer, to analyse business process to identify key business needs, to transform business objects into STEP XML format through model-based methodology and to provide a simplified visualization of STEP data in an interactive way, adapted to the business specific use case, respectively. It is illustrated through different proofs of concept describing Product Manufacturing Information (PMI), workflow involving composite information, and system engineering artifacts.

摘要
