Many media students do not have a comprehensive understanding of how artificial intelligence applications work in analyzing media content, although they are somewhat aware of the concepts of media literacy and cybersecurity. They rarely use them for educational purposes, and only superficially. There is an inverse correlation between the use of artificial intelligence applications and the level of awareness, attitudes, and behaviors of respondents toward media-aware learning of cyber issues and engagement with media content. This necessitates enhancing critical thinking skills and digital media literacy and integrating them with these applications.
