This study focuses on the impact of artificial intelligence on social media and on countries’ reactions to it as well as to international relations. The study revealed smooth and prevalent AI utilization in social media, as well as the most important advantages, disadvantages, and challenges/effects. It also studied how AI is being used to interfere in the affairs of other countries, for example in elections, during crises and in conflicts. It observed also the corresponding reactions to this use, which led to mutual sanctions, as developed between D.C. and Moscow,” the EAPC statement reads.
