Asynchronous interventions attempt to address biases outside of the decision-making context where bias likely becomes prevalent. These interventions can include training courses, informational pamphlets, and even video games designed to teach individuals about the types and consequences of bias in decision-making. This chapter details techniques from two communities where bias mitigation has been prevalent: intelligence analysis and the workplace.
