By now climate change is happening, it represents one of the largest environmental and social issues facing the world. Twentieth century experienced the strongest warming trend with average temperatures rising by about 0.6 °C. Extreme climatic events and alterations (floods, freezing temperatures, tropical cyclones, temperature rise and droughts) and the impacts of these (landslides and wildfire) have influenced ecosystems and biodiversity as well. This review focuses on to identify interconnectedness, integrated framework and link between climate change and biodiversity. Here examined the different possible effects of climate change that can operate at individual to ecosystem and biome scales, has direct and broader effects all of which leads to species extinction. This paper explores negative impacts of these variations on biodiversity, and its accelerating loss and urgent need for its conservation. Genetic diversity and effective migration also may helpful in improvement of future environmental condition through seed bank and other adaptive strategies. Understanding these principal ecological mechanisms is critical for anticipating and mitigating the impacts of climate change on plant biodiversity. Therefore, the objectives of this review is to identify, and synthesize the link between climate changes and biodiversity. However certain limitations are also associated there is need for financial support for the fight of biodiversity protection and integrative measures are needed to mitigate all level affects so it calls for further interdisciplinary research.

摘要
