Any undesirable change or disorder in the environment which leads to destruction of natural recourses such as; soil, water and air is called environmental degradation. Many types of environmental degradation are present and a lot of studies have been conducted to make sense in people about it and to decrease its consequences. There are many causes of environmental degradation such as; air, soil & water pollution noise pollution, global warming, deforestation etc. Human is one of the main source of environmental degradation by different activities such as population exploitation, industrialization, urbanization, transportation, deforestation and demolishing natural resources for his own benefits and pleasure. Due to chlorofluorocarbons and other hazardous materials releasing from different vehicles and industries are constantly polluting all components of natural environment comprising water, soil and air. Environmental pollution particularly by anthropogenic activities in an urban area is a worrying issue in front of the world and it is increasing alertness of truth that a cool, clean and green environment is important for good habitat and existence of all organisms. Different industries are discharging their toxic wastes in water reservoirs without any suitable treatment and rendering them unsuitable for aquatic habitat. Due to global warming and deforestation, temperature of the earth is raising everyday which is causing various disorders in environment.
