Arduino as a Tool to Support the Teaching of Microcontrollers at the Israel Technological University
摘要
The objective of this work was to analyze the effectiveness of Arduino as a support tool in the teaching of the subject Microcontrollers at the Israel University of Technology. We used an exploratory-descriptive study and a mixed approach with qualitative data such as activities performed in the subject, student averages and quantitative methods through the application of a survey to sixth level students of Electronics and Automation who took the subject in the academic period April–September 2024. It is concluded that the use of Arduino had a positive impact on the development of the subject Microcontrollers, reflected in the averages of students who passed the subject with grades higher than 9/10 points, in addition to participation in competitive events that encouraged motivation, surveys show that 90.28% of students strongly agree in the contribution of Arduino for the teaching-learning process, 91.67% strongly agree in satisfaction with the methodology and 94.44% strongly agree in the relationship of the content with professional practice.
