Motivation Levels in Construction Companies: Case Study of Constricom Cía. Ltda
摘要
Nowadays, motivation significantly influences the performance of employees in organizations. In this framework, this research examines the degrees of motivation at work in the construction company Constricom Cía. Ltda., using a quantitative method of cross-sectional and non-experimental design. Fundamental elements such as recognition, remuneration, incentives, objectives and training, which make it possible to strengthen the work environment and increase competitiveness, were addressed. The results show that monotony, poor communication of incentives and the absence of recognition reduce motivation at work, impacting dedication and quality of service. Thus, organized strategies are proposed to promote more comfortable and appropriate work environments that promote employee growth. This research, based on theories such as those of Herzberg and Vroom, seeks to contribute to the continuous improvement of organizational performance in the Ecuadorian construction sector.
