Academic life is generally focused on achieving goals, where error is stigmatized. However, it is fundamental to the learning process and should be considered an opportunity to identify what is not understood and reflect on the search for solutions. The objective of this study was to explore students’ attitudes towards error. The sample was non-probabilistic and random, consisting of 45 students from the careers in Informática Administrativa and Sistemas Computacionales of the División Académica de Ciencias y Tecnologías de la Información at Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco in Mexico. The results of the study indicate that students recognize that errors are important for their academic life so that it is necessary to rethink the paradigm that has existed around errors in order to take them as an advantage for learning and academic success.

摘要
