This study’s main objective is to analyse the main factors in the process of carrying out international mobility, using the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) as a case study. IPB attracts international students through programs such as Erasmus+ and cooperation protocols, with the aim of increasing attractiveness and competitiveness on the global stage. The objectives of the work include understanding how academic tourism affects international mobility, analysing the factors that influence this mobility and evaluating student satisfaction. The research was carried out through questionnaires distributed online between January 2023 and June 2024. The results obtained showed high levels of satisfaction with mobility at IPB. It was also found that institutional quality and tourist experience have a relevant impact on satisfaction.
