The study calls for stronger policies, stakeholder collaboration, and localized solutions to drive GB adoption. It identifies key research gaps and recommends public awareness campaigns, policy reforms, R&D investments, and stakeholder partnerships to enhance GB practices and support climate goals.

摘要

This paper presents a scoping review of green building (GB) practices in Nigeria, examining adoption rates, challenges, benefits, and future research opportunities. Using PRISMA-ScR guidelines, 36 articles (2005–2024) were reviewed. Findings reveal growing interest in GB, but gaps remain in North West and North East due to limited awareness, resources, government support, policy, and expertise. The study calls for stronger policies, stakeholder collaboration, and localized solutions to drive GB adoption. It identifies key research gaps and recommends public awareness campaigns, policy reforms, R&D investments, and stakeholder partnerships to enhance GB practices and support climate goals.
