Antepartum and Postpartum Mental Health Issues
摘要
This chapter will describe the most prevalent intervention models and the related feasibility and effectiveness studies for the web-based treatment of anxiety and depression in the perinatal period. The theoretical frameworks of the interventions are diverse, but the majority employ a cognitive-behavioural, interpersonal, psychoeducational, or mindfulness-based approach. These interventions were initially developed in individual and face-to-face group formats and subsequently adapted to methods that involve the use of technology, such as the internet, mobile phone apps, chat, videos, and so forth. One advantage of these methods is that they can be easily and directly accessed by a greater number of women in the perinatal period.
