The COVID-19 pandemic democratized teletherapy across several client populations, including people receiving services for their psychotic disorders. Whereas most services have gone back to in-person only, several service providers have since kept at least some teletherapy services with this client population. This chapter aims to describe the current knowledge regarding the use of teletherapy, obstacles, and advantages, particularly of videoconferencing, mHealth, and web-based interventions. We will also offer some guidance for those wishing to offer teletherapy with people with psychotic disorders.

摘要

The COVID-19 pandemic democratized teletherapy across several client populations, including people receiving services for their psychotic disorders. Whereas most services have gone back to in-person only, several service providers have since kept at least some teletherapy services with this client population. This chapter aims to describe the current knowledge regarding the use of teletherapy, obstacles, and advantages, particularly of videoconferencing, mHealth, and web-based interventions. We will also offer some guidance for those wishing to offer teletherapy with people with psychotic disorders.
