Mood disorders are highly prevalent worldwide and significantly impair quality of life, increasing the risk of suicide, particularly in young adults. This chapter examines the growing use of telemedicine and teletherapy in managing these conditions. Telemedicine, including videoconferencing and mobile health technologies, has proven effective in improving access to care, reducing depressive symptoms, and enhancing quality of life. Teletherapy, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy and problem-solving therapy, has shown comparable outcomes to traditional in-person treatments. While challenges remain, such as ensuring reliable internet access and maintaining patient privacy, teletherapy represents a promising and accessible approach for treating mood disorders.

摘要
