This paper is a critical Essay Review of Kurt Gödel, Collected Works. Volume II. Publications 1938–1974. Editor-in-chief Solomon Feferman. New York and Oxford, Oxford University Press, 1990, xvii + 407. My viewpoint will be that of a philosopher, so I will make comments mostly on the philosophical implications of—or the philosophical theses explicitly maintained in—this set of Gödel’s works, as well as on the way in which those implications are taken into consideration in the corresponding introductory notes.
