Cybersecurity has become a strategic concept that is an essential part of national security strategies. Countries worldwide have established cybersecurity strategies to strengthen national resilience against cyber threats and ensure citizens and businesses can fully utilize reliable services and digital tools. Finland, among other countries, needs more and more workforce of cybersecurity specialists to manage cybersecurity risks. Finland’s cybersecurity strategy emphasizes developing cybersecurity education to address the nation's cybersecurity risks. Finnish higher education, which universities and universities of applied sciences are providing, plays a vital role in training cybersecurity specialists through their educational programs. The chapter aims to provide an understanding of cybersecurity higher education in Finland—its structure, content, and prospects for future cybersecurity education development.
