In recent years, the improvement of the Ti6Al4V surface characteristics has gained more and more attention. Therefore, covering the alloy surface with layers obtained by the chemical conversion process is relevant to the biomedical field. In this case, to enhance the biocompatibility and osseointegration of the Ti6Al4V, three phosphate layers based on Zn, Zr, and Sr were deposited. The layers have different quantities of Zr and Sr, which led to a distinct morphology. In this paper, the tribological characteristics of these layers were studied by scratch and microindentation tests. An SEM with an EDS detector was also used to observe the morphology of the Zn-Zr-Sr phosphate layers.

摘要
