Full-Scale Test of Piles for Horizontal Load in Pre-moistened Subsidence Soil Mongolia
摘要
The design standards indicate that when studying the work of pile foundations of buildings and structures under conditions of high seismic activity and soaking of the subsidence base during the operational period, there is a need for the result of a full-scale test for horizontal load and bending moment for comparison with the results determined by analytical and numerical methods. We carried out full-scale field tests of two bored piles with a diameter of 0.6 m and a length of 8.0 m for horizontal load under the condition of preliminary soaking of the subsidence loess-like base. The values of horizontal displacements were recorded by a set of measuring equipment and a data logger sensor. The corresponding data of horizontal displacement under the action of step loads until the value of the maximum permissible horizontal displacement was reached were obtained and the values of the permissible limit of horizontal load were established taking into account the soaking of the subsidence soil of the pile foundation base.
