Research on Anti-corrosion of Water Conveyance Pipelines of Seawater Pumped Storage Power Stations
摘要
With the growing global demand for renewable energy, traditional pumped storage power plants are no longer able to meet human needs. People are gradually turning their attention to the ocean, and the abundant seawater resources make seawater pumped storage power stations an efficient and clean energy storage solution. Therefore, the construction and operation challenges of seawater pumped storage power stations have attracted widespread attention. However, the complexity of the marine environment and the variety of corrosive substances contained within these facilities pose a serious corrosion risk to the metal structures within these facilities, especially for water pipelines. In this paper, the unique corrosion mechanism of seawater pumped storage system pipelines is studied, and different corrosion prevention strategies are proposed according to different corrosion types. By implementing a comprehensive approach, including optimal material selection, anti-corrosion coatings, cathodic protection, and electrolytic antifouling treatments, the corrosion resistance of water pipelines can be significantly enhanced, ensuring the long-term operational stability of the facility.
