A discrete time system can be investigated by using Z transform, for example to show some system features like stability and causalCausality. When |z| is equal to unity, or \(z=e^{j\omega }\) , the Z transform and DTFTDiscrete-Time Fourier Transform (DTFT) are equivalent.
