Introduction
摘要
This chapter maps the literature, establishes the study’s point of departure, and identifies its unique contributions to existing scholarship. It also examines the methodological frameworks that inform this research, including oral history, memory studies, and cultural history. By engaging with these interdisciplinary approaches, the chapter demonstrates how they shape the analysis of genocide commemoration, intergenerational memory transmission, and political activism. Through this foundation, the study offers a nuanced exploration of how marginalised histories are remembered, contested, and integrated into broader scholarly and public discourses, positioning itself within contemporary debates on historical memory and recognition.
