In this chapter, the iterations of the Shooting the Sun mythologem are interpreted. Some relevant scientific explanations and Biblical traditions are identified and considered as possible impetuses for these unique oral histories. Furthermore, the roles of the gods, chronicles of theophanic encounters, the motif of the fruit tree, and the relationships between the luminaries are expounded upon.

摘要
