This chapter takes a holistic and wider look at the learning from all four cases. Based on the collective understanding, we are proposing an improved way of conceptualising the humanitarian supply chain. The proposed conceptualisation illustrates and emphasises the resilience capabilities along with the core function of the supply chain. We then list the key takeaways for humanitarian supply chain managers from the cases. Reflecting on these key points will help both potential and existing humanitarian supply chain managers to improve their resilience capability. Lastly, we also reflect on the major learning opportunities for commercial supply chain managers from the humanitarian supply chain and its resilience practices.
