Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh are a unique case of a humanitarian crisis. Maintaining aid supply chains for refugee camps has its own challenges. Moreover, the economic and geographical context of Bangladesh made it even harder for humanitarian organisations to run efficient aid operations. Thus, studying this case from an inductive perspective would help us to understand the key challenges and mitigation teachings applied by humanitarian organisations. This helped us to develop a challenge-mitigation framework for aid operations. This framework could facilitate resilience capabilities beyond aid supply chains and create the potential to see the similarities between humanitarian and commercial supply chains.
