Implementation of Automated Measuring and Robotic Systems for Quality Control and Economic Challenges of Small-Scale Manufacturing in Ethiopia
摘要
Most of the manufacturing industries across all over the globe are struggling to meet the increasing demands for precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness nowadays. However, small-scale manufacturing sectors in Ethiopia are facing significant economic challenges, such as low product quality, human labor shortages and rising production costs. To address these challenges, the integration of automated measuring and robotic systems provides a promising approach to enhance product quality, reduce material waste, and maintain competitiveness in the market. This paper examines the implementation of automated measurement and robotic systems in small-scale manufacturing sectors in Ethiopia, emphasizing their role in improving quality control while addressing economic obstacles that the country is facing today. The results show that automation can improve operational efficiency with reduced waste and increased product quality in local and international markets.
