ThisResources lecture provides an overview Earth’s Natural ResourcesResources. The fundamental 3R’s and 3P’s paradigm is introduced: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R) for People, Planet and Prosperity (3P). The concept of sustainability is described and discussed, together with the challenges that engineers face (and will face) in the path toward sustainability.
