Introduction
摘要
The importance of security protocols is explained firstly by pointing out their ubiquity. Known authentication vulnerabilities in payment systems are used to illustrate current pressing security issues, and hence the need for a methodological approach to address such vulnerabilities. Various learning curves for reading subsequent chapters are suggested, with core exercises and deeper study paths highlighted. Ethical considerations, notably responsible disclosure, are underscored for all readers aiming to apply such security knowledge to real protocols.
