Malware Analysis and Detection
摘要
The threat of malware is increasing rapidly now a days. It is a program that enters our computer system with a harmful intention to badly affect various operations of our system. It is difficult for engineers to handle malware as they are in large number and have different structures also, therefore security researchers are working in the direction of developing various techniques which are both accurate as well as effective for detection of various malware. This paper involves a deep analysis work that delves into the threats posed by two different samples with primary focus on understanding their behavior and minimizing their impact. Employing a blend of dynamic and static analysis techniques, our research work scrutinizes the real-world ramifications of these malware strains while dissecting their underlying code and structure. The main objective of this research on BlackCat and WhisperGate malware is to analyze their behavior, attack mechanisms, and evolving tactics to enhance the understanding of modern cybersecurity threats. This analysis aims to inform the development of more effective detection strategies and defense mechanisms, addressing gaps in current approaches to combating advanced malware threats
