摘要

Closed-circuit television, or CCTV, is being used every day for a variety of purposes. CCTV technology has evolved from simple detached reconnaissance to a comprehensive smart control system. This work employs facial recognition and motion detection in CCTV footage as the basis for decision making to develop an integrated system that is autonomous, effective, and efficient. This CCTV video processing produces three outputs: data on face detection, face identification, and motion detection. The Haar Classifiers Cascade approach and the Accumulative Differences Images (ADI) method are both used for face detection. To extract features, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is performed. Real-time settings are ideal for the motion detection technique.
