Cone beam computed tomography provides three-dimensional high-resolution images of the bony structures of the petrous bone. The knowledge of middle and inner ear anatomy is essential for the diagnosis of various pathological conditions and for surgical planning. This chapter will describe in detail the anatomy of the bony structures of the middle and inner ear including the retrotympanic spaces, the ossicular chain, and the labyrinth including the cochlea, the vestibule, and the semicircular canals.
