Tinnitus
摘要
Tinnitus is the perception of sound in the absence of an external acoustic stimulus classified as subjective or objective. Pulsatile tinnitus (PT) may indicate underlying vascular pathology. Imaging plays a crucial role in diagnosis: contrast-enhanced MRI (ceMRI) is recommended for continuous tinnitus and cases with auditory or vestibular symptoms, while CT and/or MR angiography (CTA, MRA) is crucial for assessing PT. Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) is required for suspected vascular malformations. A structured imaging approach is key to identifying treatable causes and guiding management.
