In the context of a research project carried out at the Laboratory of Seismic and Structural Engineering of FEUP, it was studied the experimental behaviour of plastered tabique walls, typical of old masonry and timber constructions, subjected to in-plane shear under constant compression force. There were considered two typologies of tabique walls: single and double-panel walls. This work continues previous studies that focused on the behaviour of this type of walls, without plaster. The results of this experimental campaign, which included tests on four full-scale walls representing the two mentioned typologies, allowed for estimating the influence of plaster on the in-plane behaviour of these walls. This includes aspects such as stiffness, load-carrying capacity, collapse mode, and energy dissipation capacity of these walls under cyclic tests.

摘要
