Corporate diplomacy highlights the expanded role of social corporate responsibility that multinational companies faces when helping countries to find peace through commerce. Firms implement corporate diplomacy through peacemaking or peacebuilding to accomplish both private and public goals in conflict-prone regions. Globalization has meant that links between countries have become more public, and foreign interaction is often carried out through commerce or other types of exchanges rather than exclusively by government contacts. The purpose of this study was to explore new ways to update social corporate responsibility modules in a global context, and with active learning methodologies. We suggest a combination of two different instructional techniques: Case Studies with Humor for the study of Corporate Diplomacy in a module of “Development and Civil Engineering” from Civil and Development Engineering Master Degree at ETSI Caminos—Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

摘要
