We summarize and contextualize the most influential contributions of Alan Mycroft in the field of static analysis. Some of Alan’s seminal contributions are well-known such as his work on strictness analysis and completeness, but others have been largely overlooked, namely his thesis work on linked data structures and his precursory work on predicate abstraction.
