Contribution of the Hospital Information System (HIS) to the Logistics Performance of Moroccan Hospitals: Results of an Exploratory Study
摘要
This study explores the impact of the Hospital Information System (HIS) on the logistics performance of healthcare facilities in Morocco. Using a qualitative approach, 13 semi-directive interviews were conducted with hospital managers in the Souss Massa region. The results reveal that the HIS plays a crucial role in improving logistics performance, notably by reducing costs, optimizing inventory management, and facilitating communication between the various players in the logistics chain. This study highlights the strategic benefits of HIS, while identifying the challenges and obstacles associated with its implementation, providing insights for improving logistics efficiency in Moroccan hospitals.
