Artificial Intelligence (AI) increasingly transformed public administrations and services. AI has the potential to create transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric public services. AI powered tools are being used in various sectors such as healthcare, education, transportation, and social services. It serves to automate routine tasks, analyze datasets, predict trends, create framework, and help with decision-making. This paper explores the integration of AI within the Moroccan public administration. Understanding how AI reshapes many sectors and how AI’s proper adoption should be made is crucial for developing countries like Morocco. The focus of the study was a sample of 42 administrators at the Presidency of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah university of Fes, Morocco (P-USMBA). By focusing on P-USMBA, we aimed at providing a valuable insight into the broader scope of AI adoption in the Moroccan public sector, highlight the opportunities AI offers and the challenges associated with it, but also offer recommendation for the acceleration of the digital transformation of the public administration. The findings revealed that to fully harness the potential of AI, governments must invest in technological infrastructures, develop clear regulatory frameworks, and ensure that administrative staff is equipped with the adequate skills to work alongside AI technology.

摘要
