Research on translation policies (TP) is attracting increasing global interest. This chapter aims to systematically review the existing TP literature. To ensure the representativeness of the data, the relevant literature was retrieved from different databases, including the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), Translation Studies Bibliography (TSB), Bibliography of Interpreting and Translation (BITRA), and Google Scholar, marked by the release of the first article on TP, Translation Policy in Belgium Between the Two World Wars, to 2024.
