This chapter describes the impact of healthcare practitioners and systems of care on my experiences in treatment and my healing process. It also emphasized the multidimensional aspects of the partnership in healing. It reviewed how healthcare delivery can be culturally reformed to humanize care and patients’ struggles with illnesses, moving to a more person-centered holistic humanistic approach integrating biomedical interventions.
