Archaeological awareness, alongside historical awareness, is becoming an important aspect of social culture, particularly in relation to the heritage of the past. It refers to a specific type of knowledge about archaeological heritage, typically acquired through education. It is also a form of practice, developed through direct interaction with objects and artifacts in their original context (in situ), and is linked to the idea of making archaeology more accessible and engaging to the public. This chapter explores the potential of the concept of cultural landscape as regards historical and archaeological education. The integration of this concept with aerial photography is intended to support the visualization of archaeological artifacts within their spatial context, and to promote their thoughtful protection. The core aim of this approach is to enrich historical education with new content that supports the development of archaeological awareness.

摘要
