This chapter examines the influential contributions of Danuta Minta-Tworzowska to the development of the Poznań School of Archaeology. Based on the philosophical and methodological principles of the Poznań School of Methodology, her work established a unique approach to archaeology that has greatly influenced the theoretical and methodological landscape of Polish archaeology for the past three decades. Key themes include archaeological theory and methodology; classification as a reflection of research procedures; the conceptualisation of archaeological sources; and the interpretation of symbolism and prehistoric art. Not only did Minta-Tworzowska adopt ideas from the Poznań School of Methodology, she also transformed them in innovative ways, contributing to the formation of a uniquely Polish archaeological discourse. Her work transcends national frameworks, offering valuable insights into Central European and global archaeological debates.
