In Europe, early 2025 saw the politics of belonging, which articulated much of its ideological construction of citizenship and identity, reinterpreted into new forms of bordering (Yuval-Davis et al., 2019). The growing political tensions and destabilisation of regimes of truth are reflected in new attitudes, practices, and discourses on Europeanness, shared values, and the meaning of community. Social and political solidarity have been re-articulated, re-structured, and re-politicised to answer the imperatives of a new agenda of securitisation, where boundaries, rather than shared localities, are the norm.

摘要

In Europe, early 2025 saw the politics of belonging, which articulated much of its ideological construction of citizenship and identity, reinterpreted into new forms of bordering (Yuval-Davis et al., 2019). The growing political tensions and destabilisation of regimes of truth are reflected in new attitudes, practices, and discourses on Europeanness, shared values, and the meaning of community. Social and political solidarity have been re-articulated, re-structured, and re-politicised to answer the imperatives of a new agenda of securitisation, where boundaries, rather than shared localities, are the norm.
