Toward Environmental Performance of Green Supply Chain Management with Green Information System in Digital Age: The Role of Green Product Innovation and Environmental Collaboration
摘要
This study examines the impact of green information systems (GIS), internal green supply chain management (I_GSCM), and Green product innovation (GPI) on environmental performance (ENP). The mediating role of GPI between the relationship of the I_GSCM and the ENP was also examined. At the same time, the moderating impact of Environmental Collaboration (EC) on the GIS and ENP relationship and the I_GSCM and ENP relationship was also considered. Based on a questionnaire survey used to collect data from Vietnamese respondents (n = 234) and analyzed the data using partial least squares (PLS), with a structural equation modeling (SEM) technique through the SmartPLS 4.0 program. Research results show that I_GSCM impacts ENP and GPI, and GIS has a positive impact on I_GSCM, but the influence of GPI on ENP is insignificant. This shows that GPI does not have a role as a mediating variable for I_GSCM and ENP. Besides, the research result demonstrates that EC has a moderating role in the I_GSCM-ENP relationship but does not have a moderating impact on the GIS_ENP relationship. The findings provide theoretical insight and essential management implications for successfully managing and implementing green management strategies at organizations in the digital age.
