Recently, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been widely applied in various fields by applying the processing of big data and highly effective analytical, evaluation, and prediction models. AI can process huge amounts of data, recognize patterns, and make decisions with minimal human intervention, especially in evaluating educational institutions to ensure quality assurance. The application of artificial intelligence in university administration helps educational administrators monitor and adjust school activities to follow their missions while ensuring compliance with mandatory principles issued by state management agencies or ownership agencies to ensure transparency and fairness in management and operations. This paper discusses the model and application of artificial intelligence in university administration based on university autonomy-associated quality assurance under 6 different factors: Mission; Compliance with principles; Monitoring and adjustment; Ensuring transparency and fairness, anticipation; and Innovation and creativity. Besides, we present the advantages and challenges of applying artificial intelligence in the future to ensure the quality of education for universities.
