Artificial Intelligence in Entrepreneurship: A Literature Review on Managing Complexity and Decision-Making

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative force in entrepreneurship, addressing the complexities of managing uncertainty and enhancing decision-making in dynamic markets. This paper employs a comprehensive literature review to analyze the intersection of AI and entrepreneurship, drawing from recent peer-reviewed studies and theoretical frameworks. Key sections explore AI as a transformative technology, its role in managing entrepreneurial complexity, enhancing decision-making, and fostering innovation, while addressing ethical and social considerations. The proposed conceptual framework identifies five core dimensions—complexity management, decision-making, innovation and product development, customer interaction, and ethical imperatives—and integrates them into a phased roadmap of AI adoption, implementation, and sustainability. By synthesizing these insights, the paper provides a structured guide for entrepreneurs to leverage AI responsibly and effectively, offering actionable strategies and highlighting ethical imperatives to advance sustainable, inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems.
