The Factors Driving Digital Entrepreneurship in Morocco

This article explores the factors motivating Moroccan entrepreneurs to adopt digital solutions in their activities. It highlights the importance of digital technologies in revolutionizing traditional business models, fostering innovation, flexibility, and cost reduction. The study shows that technical factors play a central role in shaping entrepreneurs’ perceptions of digital entrepreneurship. Conversely, personal factors have a limited impact. Additionally, the article introduces a matrix that distinguishes between different types of entrepreneurships based on the relative influence of personal and technical factors, offering a framework to understand diverse entrepreneurial approaches. The article concludes by emphasizing the importance of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, in enhancing digital entrepreneurship and provides recommendations to encourage this transformation in Morocco.
